The Twins Game!

On July 4th, we took the kids to see the Twins play Detroit. It was a fun game and the kids had a great time. The Twins even won which made Kyle quite happy!
Daddy and Kyle before the game. The kiddos after the game. (Lexi really wasn't that happy, but daddy was making some funny faces in the back!)
Gotta love a good (and expensive) hotdog!
Yum!
Good to the last bite!

4th of July Weekend!

We headed to Minneapolis for a quick trip over the 4th of July. These pictures are from the hotel we stayed in. The room had bunk beds for the kids which they thought was great and a big waterpark. They convinced us they needed goggles for swimming so we got them each of pair. Lexi loved to wear hers even though her head never went in the water!

(Finally figured out how to get the color better! On my last picture.)
Lexi in her goggles! Kyle and Emily on one of the little slides.

Bun making Day!

I decided to make some buns one day a couple of weeks ago, and of course, Lexi wanted to help. So I gave her some dough and let her help me shape the buns. She discovered on her own the best way to shape them. Check it out below.......

She used her tummy to flatten them.
Ta Da!! All done Mommy!!
It's so good to have help. And thank goodness we bake all the germs out of them right?

Yard Sales!

We braved the cold, the snow and the 32 degree weather and went to the Rugby city-wide yard sales today. The kids had fun for the most part. Found a few bargains and had pizza for lunch. Fun times! Below are some of the bargains we found for the kids. We have been looking for some dress up clothes for a while.

Cakes

I have spent a few days making cakes this week. First I made some cakes for Larry Pieterick's retirement. He drove school bus for the Wolford School for 42 years. Then, of course, I had to make Sara a birthday cake. Hope she had a great birthday!!
